When are visiting hours?
St. Clare’s operates an open door policy and does not restrict visitors to certain hours.
Please note that mealtimes are during 12pm – 1pm and 5pm – 6pm.
How do I get to the Hospice?
The Hospice is easily accessible from the A194 (please see the location page) There is also a bus service that stops outside the Hospice and runs approximately every half an hour. Please contact the Nexus Hotline on 0870 608 2 608 to confirm the times and number of the service.
How much does it cost to run the Hospice each year?
Our running costs are approximately £1,750,000
How much funding does the Hospice receive?
We receive a percentage of funding from the Primary Care Trust towards our running costs. The rest is made up from our charity shops, fundraising activities, donations, the Hospice Lottery.
How do I make a donation?
You can make a donation in person at the hospice or via the post. Please make cheques payable to St. Clare’s Hospice. An online donation service is also available on this website. Click here to donate
