Day Care is provided Monday to Friday between 10am and 3.30pm. The Hospice is registered to provide up to 20 places each day.

Who is day care for?

Day care is for the patient with a life limiting illness who needs input from the Hospice palliative care team to enable them to continue living at home. In many cases attendance at day care can help to avoid Hospital or Hospice admission.

> Social contact and support

> Spiritual Care from staff, counselling and chaplaincy teams

> Arts, crafts and recreational activities

How to attend Day Care

Referrals to day care can be made by a member of the palliative care multidisciplinary team or any other health care professional already involved in the patients care.
